With the return of the much loved Bassekou Koyate & Ngoni Ba as well as  kora players Sousou & Maher Cissoko, the samba sounds of Angola’s Paulo Flores, and South African star Bongeziwe Mabandla and more intriguing music to experience are the Kurdish sounds of Nishtiman, the energizing sounds of Venezuela’s La Gallera Social Club and whats not to love about Scottish bagpipes played by Breabach. There’s many many other great artists from around the globe so be sure to check this summer’s local festival out!.
